Caroline Kristine Clement...  What a gift you are! It is hard to believe that 14 years ago today you arrived ... As a new mother it was a little overwhelming. The responsiblity! I started buying books on parenting, babies, toddlers, ect... I was reading about what to teach a teenage daughter before you were two. ☻ There you were, this sweet human being, so tiny and dependent upon your Daddy and I to teach you about life and this big world... What I did not know then, but do now, is that you, Caroline, were going to teach me so much about life...

• You are kind. You have taught me to look for the good in each and every person. You see the good in them.  You are alot like your Daddy!  I often feel like I need to let you know that not all people are good... and you are quick to remind me of the quote from the movie "Pollyanna"

• You have taught me it is okay not take yourself too seriously. I love that about you. You are real.

• You have taught me that you are STRONG!!! So many times I am ready to go into the battle for you, sword drawn, and your so respectfully say "Momma I am okay. I can handle this" and you do, with so much more grace than your ~ ready to go to war mother would.

• You are steadfast. You know what you believe and you stand firm. You have taught me that even at the young age of  14 you can stand against the winds that blow.



You are joyful. You have taught me the joy of singing at all times.... happy, sad, frustrated... you are my songbird.

You are lovely. Beautiful inside and out. You have taught me that it is possible for a 14 year old girl to be both, even in today's society.

You love the Lord!!  Oh how I love how you love Him, Liney.
